In the dawn of mankind, someone eventually realized a way had to be found to stop people from gutting each other and stealing their shit. But, instead of saying "you know, if you keep doing this there'll be no one left in the fucking world," this person said instead, "you know, you'll suffer for this after you die because an invisible man in the sky is watching you." "I don't see him," the others would say, and the person would reply "THAT'S HOW POWERFUL HE IS, MORONS!"

Okay, good short-term idea. Keep most of humanity - i.e. the retards - on a leash made out of lies until a better solution is found. Problem is, by the time a solution WAS found - i.e. a law system - the idea of a god was shoved so firmly up humanity's arse that even laser surgery couldn't destroy it, and suddenly every human being was taught these lies right after they were born.

After all, how nice to have a god, isn't it? Oh man, oh man, to have a big powerful guy watching out for us, protecting us, strangely being capable of answering prayers even if they meant completely opposite results ("God please, make Brazil win the world cup!" "No, God, make Italy win the world cup!") Isn't it CONVENIENT? Hell yes it is! Fuck the rest of the world, I have a god on my side! It just happens to be incredibly STUPID as well.

People are just too afraid to accept the truth: that we are ultimately alone, stuck in the arse-end of a galaxy among billions of others in a giant, possibly infinite universe. We have five billions of years to re-ignite our sun or get out of this system before it turns into a red giant and swallows the planet. And MEANWHILE, while we've got THESE concerns to worry about, these brainwashed imbeciles keep wandering in front of cameras telling the world that "hey! Dinosaurs existed four thousand years ago, and they were pretty tame until Adam and Eve ATE THAT FUCKING FRUIT."

Noooo. we NEED a father figure. We need a REASON to exist. We need to know the MEANING of life. And until we figure that out, how about we keep making shit up and hope something sticks? "Why are we in this world?", "Oh! I know! To kneel as often as possible and speak to the skies while not having any sex with girls unless we want a kid to teach to do the exact same thing!"

WE DON'T KNOW. We have no idea what the meaning of life is. All I know is, when I am watching a good film... I feel this weird sensation of satisfaction. When I'm talking to someone or eating a hot dog, I feel the same thing. So, why not keep chasing that sensation while helping everyone else on the way? Sounds like a MARVELOUS idea, doesn't it? Just try to be happy until you die, as often as possible and without hurting anyone! How hard could that be?

When it comes to humanity, it is IMMENSELY hard. Because most people are morons who eat all the shit they're given as long as it's wrapped in a pretty package. Every six months, someone comes up with a new idea to what life actually means. Recently, it has been this "rule of attraction" bullshit and "everything happens for a reason."

"The universe conspires in my favor!" the law of attraction says. Wish hard enough, and it will happen! Think positive!

BOOM. That was the sound of me popping that bubble. Sorry to stomp all over your fantasy, shoot you in the kneecaps and stick my dick in your mouth, but newsflash: THERE ARE SIX BILLION PEOPLE IN THIS FUCKING WORLD. How can the universe conspire for ALL OF THEM? I'm pretty fucking sure that since the twin towers collapsed, a lot of people have been wishing for Osama Bin Laden to be caught - and look at that, all they got is a dumb president who can't pronounce the word "nuclear."

Mmm. Something tells me the universe doesn't give a shit. In fact, when I look at the picture of two galaxies colliding, or of a nebula spanning thousands of lightyears - I'm pretty much convinced our cozy little planet doesn't make a single difference, and that if it blew up - the galaxies would still BE there. How cruel, isn't it? That nobody gives a shit about you?

Well, I do. That's why I'm writing this. Because it's time people get a wake-up call. We don't have an universe on our side, we don't have a god protecting us.

We've got each other. And that's it.
